Advocacy Roots
Street League Africa is a prominent, advocacy-focused grassroots basketball league in Kenya, established to provide a platform for young people to develop basketball skills and life skills like teamwork and financial literacy. We began as an advocacy competition during COVID-19 but have evolved into a fully-fledged street league.

From a COVID-19 advocacy initiative to Kenya's most recognised grassroots basketball league.
League Founded
Street League Africa was established during COVID-19 as an advocacy-focused grassroots basketball league built to keep Nairobi's youth active and connected.
Community Growth
Expanded to include multiple communities across Nairobi, establishing consistent programming focused on youth development and empowerment.
FEBA Partnership
Became an official franchise of the Far East Basketball Federation, elevating our competitive standards and opening doors to international networks.
League Expansion
Grew to 20+ active teams with regular tournaments, increased cash prize pools, and a dedicated Women's Elite division.
Youth Impact
Successfully empowered over 500 young people through basketball and life skills programs — our most impactful season to date.
